Yes, and/or perhaps elders leading a group of whales also developed CC related inner ear infections which cause vertigo as well as brain fog.
Also unknown was whether a severe infection of the inner ear of one of the older male whales could have played a role in the stranding.

Like dolphins, whales use echolocation (an animal's ability to orient itself by the reflection of sound it produces) for navigating, hunting and socializing.

Hmm have inner ear infection myself and feeling a bit weird.. maybe I really am a whale!:)
