It sounds like you are taking charge and are on the road to recovery! Good for you!
Just a thought that I didn't see mentioned above. Are you sure you have eczema and not DH (dermatitis herpetiformis)? DH occurs in gluten-sensitive folks and causes an itchy rash with tiny blisters. You might google some photos of it to see if it looks familiar........
