Thanks Gabes, I am very anxious to go look at your pics ! I surely need the distraction.

I have been reading all day everything I can in here.

I have been looking into mast cell and trying to see where some of my weaknesses are. I am thinking in addition to the Vit D I should add in some B6. My levels seem low -although within range. My value is a 6 and std range is 5-50.

My copper is 94 and std range is 65-180. My zinc is 90 and std range is 60-120

Do you have any thoughts on this Gabes or anyone ?
What B6 supplement ?

I am sure you get where I am going with this... DAO enzymes and histamine intolerance.

This flare I am in is just so over the top and I am reacting to even the most of benign things. I know you advise not adding too many things into my healing period, but I am not healing - I am just becoming more and more super sensitive to everything.

I feel like I need to tamp down some of the inflammation I am feeling all over and I have so many things firing and flaring it's hard to ignore these signals.

Massive WD, still 20 times a day. I have been very strict and not strayed one bit from GF,DF. Still taking in soy - in the TPN but down to 2 bags of soy that are going into me IV. This is better than the 7 bags of soy I had going into me, so that is a big drop and I hope to have the last 2 bags of soy out of my life next week.

Not one drop of gluten or dairy has crossed my lips. No sugar, no seasonings, not one veggie or piece of fruit, no chocolate, no eggs . ( No flour being used in my house ) Nothing processed ( never have eaten processed food)

I have only eaten fresh organic turkey, shrimp, white rice and chex cereal, Almond milk in my coffee ( I tsp the whole day) .

Just 4 items I have eaten since I last posted in here and yet the WD is as intense as is has been for the last 6 months.

I have lots of elk meat in my freezer and would like to grind some up and eat it - but I just don't know about game being safe right now. (I have family in Montana who ship it to me and bring me lots of it every summer as well. I have ground meat, steaks and some awesome elk salami with jalapeño ( which I know I can't eat right now )

.....I hate my body right now - :thud: I know Gabes - I know but I just can't love it right now. ( today anyways, I could be in a better place tomorrow or even in 10 minutes) :angeldevil:

Thoughts appreciated.

vent away dear friend... you have a tough gig to face each day.
the frog is there to help you embrace the challenge and the emotions.

I have a post it note on my computer monitor - Help me love myself as I am - show me how

P5P (active form of B6) would be very good option. the Thorne P5P product from iherb is MC safe. with the ongoing inflammation and histamine a big factor in increasing inflammation it is worthy of serious consideration
re the zinc and the copper - although both items are 'in range' ideal situation is to have the zinc higher than the copper. iHerb have ionised liquid zinc drops that you could use.

for now I would start with the P5P, let the Vit D3 and magnesium levels start to increase and then in 4-6 weeks maybe then consider adding in the P5P

Your post has given me something to strive for Gabes and I can't tell you how bad I need that.

I just hate sitting here and not seeing anything change. I will order P5P from Thorne right away and I very much appreciate your sharing which B6, you have no idea how helpful that is, I would have to spend hours obsessing over selecting the right thing.

Excellent info on zinc & copper ! I will address those down the road as you suggested.

I am not sure lovely - I have never had that message come up when I purchase from iherb
from doing some reading on the web, it is something that only applies to california. Many nutritionists/functional doctors etc recommend this brand and product to people in Australia and the USA

I looked at the list of items that are part of the CA Prop 65 listing ika curumba
unless you are planning to have children in the near future i dont think there is any major health issue. I would be more concerned about the alcohol sugars and other things you have since ceased than the Thorne P5P!!
A USA based member may have more knowledge/understanding on this.

or maybe ring or email iherb and ask them what ingredient in the product warrants that warning!

as i downloaded the photo to the computer, sharing the photo and the text from my symbolism book with you just came to mind. I have some friends that dont see animals as symbols or messages etc. living on the farm there have been many times i have nurture a small or injured animal, kingfisher that knocked themselves unconscious in glass door, a baby bat that went into the landlords place, if while I am putting the washing out a dragonfly lands near to where i am, or while I am gardening a frog or other animal will be near where I am and not move away when I am there etc etc. any time i drive down the dirt road that is the driveway type thing, a certain type of bird will fly along side the car each day it will be a different bird
i see these moments as hugs from the universe, a reminder that I am where I am meant to be at that point in time in life.
warms my heart that the photo and the words connected with you (and others) a beautiful reminder that we are not alone in this journey and our challenges. we have a nurturing supportive web, connecting each of us. I am picturing this web in the sunrise, glistening like diamonds as the sun hits the miniscule droplets of water!

Thanks Gabes, I am concerned with the alcohol sugars for sure... Not concerned with having a baby though...
I have bought many Thorne vitamins, they are excellent. Ca is awesome in that it looks out for it's people in regards to some ingred.

I haven't hit the buy button, need my husband to look at it.

You rock for looking into it for me, I am seriously compromised in my thinking. Thank You !

Dear Rebecca,

Wow, I am just overwhelmed at all you have been and are going through. And you are still able to keep such a positive attitude.

My 5-year-old granddaughter has been tube-fed most of her life, and is just now learning to swallow and is able to eat purees for some of her meals. She has a g-tube.

Your situation is far more complex. I hope that getting the soy out of your formula (is that the right word to use?) will make a real difference for you.

I don't have any knowledge to share, but just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you and will pray for you.

Aww thank You so much Martha for your kind post. I am sorry your granddaughter has been on a feeding tube for most of her life. The g-tube is at least a better nutrition than the TPN I am on. That is excellent that she is now learning to swallow, I hope she can be free of her g-tube very soon !

I would rather have a g-tube, but my gut doesn't digest very well. My goal is to be off this TPN as soon as the D is controlled.
I now have the soy out of the formula, so I hope to see improvements.

I am grateful to all of you for your kindness, support and information !

Tex if you see this, I want you to know I am thinking of you and I am totally seeing you well !

Hugs,
Rebecca
