 As usual I must have done a "quick visit" after you posted and missed them...again.

Thanksgiving was great but I ate more "gluten" than I meant to. That dressing & gravy is hard to resist.

Polly, I'd like to hear that song -

Quote from Tex: "I have one that always seems to be going out of it's way just to get hurt"
Love that, sounds just like mine but sometimes it tries to fool me that it's all better and then hit me hard when I least expect it.

I have taken 2 walks - both a mile & 1/2 to 2 miles. Certainly not impressive but better than nothing.

We had a wonderful "cold" snap here before Thanksgiving but it's back up to 80 now and humid.....of course. We did get some much needed rain yesterday and last night. All the (so called) lakes here in Spanish Lakes are VERY low.

Thank you so much for the encouragement.

Love, Shirley

AHA! If that rash really is DH, it may be related to that extra holiday gluten. Our genes just won't cut us a break, will they?

My brother told me about that quote from the country song - I'll try to find out the name of the song. I'd like to hear it too. Maybe it would be a good theme song for all of us struggling to make lifestyle food changes.

If you had to take a guess, what % of the time would you say that you eat "paleo"? Also, how much have you reduced your gluten intake from 2 years ago? Don't worry, this is definitely NOT a quiz. LOL! Remember, I am not the paleo police!!! And feel free to take the 5th!

Love,

Polly

P.S. Keep up the good work with the walking, as the knee allows.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
