Hi Brandy & Tex ~

Thanks so much for the input from both of you! All of you moderating this forum site mean so much to us MCers and how valuable your explanations and suggestions for fine tuning our recovery are to our success in living w/ MC. I can never thank you all enough!

I reduced the Mag Cit to 250 mg and put back in my Calcium 600 mg a few days ago. Today I noticed a slight bit of tightening up of my stools...but I’m guarded about getting too excited about that, better just to wait and see.

Got a simple recipe for sort of a thick pliable tortilla made w/ cassava flour from a friend whose 12 yr old daughter can have NO grains and NO dairy, just like me. Had one of them w/ cashew butter and seedless blackberry jam...YUM! Had one for dinner w/ roasted turkey and simple guacamole...YUM!

Lab results question

So my EnteroLab score on soybeans as the indicator for legumes was 10 which means I absolutely can NOT have any legumes. 0r does it mean there MAY be SOME of them you MIGHT be able to have a SMALL amount of OCCASIONALLY? I have had a few legumes occasionally that gave me no problems. Not questioning the results...I understand that 10 indicates sensitivity to the food group. Thoughts?

The test is specific to soy, so you may or may not be sensitive to some or all legumes. Most of us who are sensitive to soy find that we are also sensitive to many or most legumes, but not necessarily all of them. Sorry to be so vague, but there is no test that's specific to legumes.

Thanks, Tex, for your quick response. I’m happy to know that I can try some of the legumes I’ve never seemed to have a problem w/ and MIGHT just find a few that are okay for me.
