Being a teacher, before MC I got a flu shot every single year, and knock on wood, I've really never had the flu.
Last year was the very first year I didn't get it and I didn't get it again this year either. So far so good. I am very careful about sanitizing my classroom on a regular basis, keeping my hands clean (sometimes so much they get raw and sore), and also diffuse essential oils in my classroom on a regular basis.
I've been reading a lot about the vaccines and I was also one that took 2 allergy shots a week for a large majority of my life. I am just not going to let any of those poisons go back into my body for any reason, but that's just my opinion.
Flu vaccine? Not for me.

The only year I had flu since there have been vaccines was the year I didn't have one. I got it on a plane. And I was sick for MONTHS and MONTHS.
When it went to my lungs I was given a Z-pack. I vomited and had diarrhea for 5 days solid. I had to take the meds because I was super sick.
I had my flu shot this year, and, unless I am proved wrong by getting flu (heaven forbid!), I will have it ever year.
