Hi...I just ordered the re mag.....I have been having a terrible time with the pills causing D and just have been doing the spray/gel and lotion....a 1/4 teaspoon is so little of a dose....do you just put it on your tongue, or in water? Sorry if that's a weird question...

Hi Lou Ann,

We put it in water. Start out with about 1/8 teaspoon and work your way up. You can also put a little directly on the top of your hands. I have a difficult time drinking it; I discovered that if I pour the ReMag over ice, add fresh squeezed lemon, then the water and drink it through a straw, I can do it. But that's just me.

Your question was not weird at all...cheers!

Thanks Diana!
I'm assuming it tastes terrible if you need to mix it?
Do you still use ant other forms of mag with it?

I'm pretty sure the directions indicate to mix it with water and sip throughout the day. I have used it topically but not orally. When applied topically, it can sting but that goes away. I can't even imagine what would happen if you take it with out water.

I will certainly take your word for that and put it in water!
Thanks again !

Hey Lou Ann,

When you get your order there are detailed instructions on how to use. I followed these to the letter, which is why i think it helped me tremendously. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water and add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt or pink Himalayan salt to every liter. That draws the water into the cells and that kind of salt has around 72 other minerals we are missing......

I can't stand the taste of plain water anymore and always have my sea salted ReMag water with me.

Hey Diana,

If you hate the ReMag water, the salt probably won't help it any! I'm just thrilled you are using it any ol' way you can muster  it's good to share innovative ways to hide the taste. I think I'm the one who's the minority actually liking it. Maybe I'm more sick than I thought....lol

Hi Vanessa and all,

I actually love the ReMag in water with the sea salt also! I'm finding I feel the same way about foods that I tolerate well ... most of these foods are ones that I used to avoid prior to mc! Since we have to make these huge changes in our lives and lifestyles, it does make sense (IMO) to embrace what is good for us whenever we can, however we can. Sometimes it can help to "turn off" certain senses (close your eyes, savor in the moment and don't be distracted by smells and noises) and look inward. If the food (or supplement/drink) is something that's good for us, I believe most of us can come to an "agreement" with it, and our bodies recognize this, even if our mind is still caught up in previous memories or prejudices that no longer serve us.

OK, I'm weird too!

Honestly...I didn't thoroughly read the directions so I missed the part about adding salt. I'm willing to try it, no problem there. IDK how I missed it other than I glanced through the directions. I don't think I have the directions...how much salt does one add?

Here's what Vanessa wrote a couple of posts up ...

As for me, I put a large pinch of Redmond Sea Salt into a 30 oz glass of tap water with a little over 1 tsp of ReMag and a straw. I sip this throughout the day and drink about 2 1/2 of these total per day. I used to love ice cold water ... it was my favorite drink. Drinking things ice cold is not the best for us, nor is cold lemon juice (especially while we're healing), so I've adjusted and come to love the room temperature ReMag water with the sea salt. It will take awhile to figure out how much ReMag to drink, and it is better to be conservative, IMO, and let your body tell you when you need to increase your dose.

It seems like I was able to go up pretty fast on the amount of ReMag added to my drinking water; however, I'd been using a large amount of Ancient Aliens/Minerals topical spray for many months, so perhaps that made a difference. It's still a balancing act for me to get the right amount each day, juggling between changes in bowels due to too much ReMag (or total mag), and listening to the mag deficiency symptoms my body is relating to me. My order of the ReMag came with several flyers/pamphlets with directions, plus I'd printed out directions for ReMag use from Dr. Dean's website.

Thanks Holly, duly noted and I'll make the changes. I also didn't know about cold vs warm lemon juice until you wrote about that recently. You should have seen my reaction when I read that! Aaaack! So, so much to learn...
