I am very far on the "no meds" end of the spectrum
I listened to part of a program on Minnesota Public Radio today about people's perspective on health care and how
they tend to have a minimal or maximal belief in doctors/drugs. I know I now am a "minimalist"

Nice find, Deb - I'm going to listen while I clean up the aftermath of whatever tornado has whipped through my study here. I've heard of Dr. Groopman - should be an interesting listen...

I'm with you on the minimalism. I fear some day I will refuse a tourniquet and bleed to death. I need to rebuild some trust in the good that's possible in the medical field; I know I need a new doctor, because she is by no means evil, but she is never going to win me over to the flow-chart of medical care (I say a symptom, she writes a precription...).
