Apparently, there must be good evidence that vitamin D can help to prevent certain types of colon cancer, (at least in certain ethnic groups), or this test never would have been proposed. The name of the trial is Preventing Colon Cancer in African Americans With Colon Polyps: Vitamin D Supplement.
