I like my breadman pro. It has a gluten free setting but do find that I only use it with homemade bread, the gluten free mixes say to use regular basic setting.

I like my Breadman Pro too and just use the regular setting. Very dependable machine.

Thanks very much, I'll look for it. Interesting that you don't use the GF setting with mixes.....

I just purchased the cuisinart 2lb machine, I've used it 2x with fantastic results. The model I purchased has programs for GF bread, the model CBK-200. Now I've just retired my old breadman and it was a great machine, but very mixed results with the GF recipes. In the cuisinart I haven't done a scratch recipe, only a pre-packaged mix, so I can't give a real in depth opinion yet, but I like what I've seen so far, and I like the regular loaf vs. the round vertical one of my old machine. It was 129.00 and shipping was free.

We have been using the Cuisinart CBK-200 for over a year now, and go through periods of making a loaf every couple of days. It had been great, we did have a belt in the convection oven squeal for awhile after the machine got turned upside down, but it quit and it still plugging along nicely. They also have a 2 or 3 year warranty on them, in case of trouble...

Hugs,
C
