Has anyone looked into s. boulardi for MC?

Post by pamster »

Does anyone have an opinion about "proboulardi," a probiotic with s. boulardi? My naturopath suggested it, I took my first dose this morning, and my stomach has been upset all day. I read a little about it and wonder if the yeast is bothering me.
Thank you,
Pam

s. boulardi

Just noticed your post about s. boulardi. I completely turned a corner after taking it (I bought the Jarrow formula). After about 3 weeks i stopped for 4 days and went back to a regular probiotic without yeast and things started to get worse right away. I'm back on it and it really seems to help me (I have LC).

I've been away for a long time, so sorry then that this response comes so long after your original question. I haven't tried that brand, but have tried s. boulardi, and it upset my stomach. (as do all the probiotics I've tried)
