I spoke with Barb!

I finally got through. Barb sounds a little frazzled (who wouldn't?) but amazingly upbeat! Lou has done beautifully and may be coming home tomorrow. Imagine that! Only 5 days after quadruple bypass. Isn't this great news?

Barb wants me to send her love to everyone. She is still trying to figure out the new board and hasn't been able to post a message. She says she will keep trying whenever she has a little free time. If she keeps having problems she will contact one of us. I told her not to worry - that we would come find her no matter what!

It was so good to hear her laughing and telling stories. Lou is one of those people who is loved by everyone he meets, and everywhere Barb goes people are asking about him. I know how much Scott and I immediately loved both of them when we had the chance to meet for lunch in Cape May almost 2 years ago.
