I read that. Our server at our Ruby Tuesday said her brother is allergic to peanuts. She was quite helpful to me.
Can you believe that they were out of 100% olive oil last night? DH was going to go across the street for some but the manager sent someone instead. Used their nice coupon. Darn we didn't get an extra on in our newspaper like the last time.

That's a tough question, but money is always in style, especially in restaurants, where very generous tips always seem to bring big smiles, and service far above and beyond the call of duty.
Back in the good old days, (before I realized that I needed to do a complete diet makeover), I used to eat out a lot while making deliveries. I never ate at any of the truly "high class" restaurants, because I was always wearing work clothes, but I got in the habit of tipping 5 to 10 times the normal amount. I didn't have any money to "throw around", mind you, but it was really interesting, (and gratifying), to see the effects that it had. Needless to say, by about the third visit, the service was absolutely superb. I never encountered a grouchy, or unresponsive waitress - they were all smiles, and it always made my day.
These days, I rarely eat out, but I still do that, for anyone who goes to extra lengths, to insure that my meal is "safe".

Yes, we did give the waitress a large tip on Friday night.
I'm just kind of stumped on gifts for the great manager and the cooks. I had already sent a letter to corporate praising her and everyone.. The district manager was in the restaurant one night and we found out that he hadn't even told her!
