Polly - Rice Tortillas

Post by kate_ce1995 »

Polly,

How do rice tortillas roll? Do they hold up better than the store bought corn ones? I'm guessing with tapioca flour they do okay...I seem to enjoy bread substitutes that have tapioca flour in them...most like "normal".

Hi Katy,

I think they roll better than corn tortillas. And they roll better when warm. I agree that tapioca flour helps.

Love,

Polly

Cool! I will have to look for some.

I like to have just ingredients at work for lunches rather than making sandwiches or whatever in the morning (unless its grabbing a tupperware container of left overs). A pack of tortillas would not take up as much room in the fridge, or desk drawer as appropriate as a loaf of bread.
