Getting ready for our family reunion

Post by annie oakley »

I have started to gather things I am taking to the reunion on Aug 5t thu the 7th...I am off work the 4th also. The fourth is thursdayand SIL and I are making our pie for the pie contest. We are discussing the kind of pie we'll make. If anyone has any Ideas...speak now. Plus I am taking the dogs to the vet Friday Morning...I will withold food Thursday night after 7pm so they can do the blood fast on Jasmine then feed them. I take enough stuff for two weeks every year..but it is fun and you never know when you'll need it...like a niece may need extra P.J.'s or a granchild may need a T shirt to sleep in (in granny's room of course) So it's a production in this family to get ready for it. I am a bit upset tho....I had a Huge Turkey tail that mike found on a dead turkey. Beautiful fan of feathers. Either the cats or the rats got a hold of it and were eating the meat off of it and scattered my feathers from here to eternity. We are still finding some. But the really big ones are missing still. :anger: Wait til I catch the critters...I think it's the wild cat's Rats don't leave cat sized turds.... :fonkycat: had better stay away from my sight. But then again I suppose they were doing what comes natural but I may trap them and give to my neighbor for barn cats. well got to go look for some more feathers...it's a bit cooler out now. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
