Discussions can be posted here about mediator release testing (MRT), as offered by Oxford Biological Technologies, in conjunction with the LEAP program, which is claimed to determine a relative level of sensitivity to various foods and chemicals by measuring an increase in the ratio of liquids to solids in a blood sample that has been exposed to a specific allergen.

Calling Gloria

Post by Polly »

Hi Gloria,

In recent post you mentioned that you were at a crossroads wondering whether to continue testing or to go off the Entocort for now. Just interested to know if you have decided yet. It sounds as if things have been going smoothly for a while.

Hugs,

Polly

Polly,

Thank you for your interest. It sounds like your testing is going smoothly. It's too bad that you can't eat tomatoes. I miss them, too. I was hoping I'd know if I can eat them before planting time comes.

I've decided to stop testing and try to reduce Entocort. I'm having mixed results. No D, just one trip per day, but it's not perfect Norman the day after I don't take any Entocort. I have perfect Normans when I take one Entocort pill. I'm in a wait and see mode.

Gloria- Good luck with reducing your Entocort. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for success and consistent Norman visits.
