Balsamic Vinegar

Hi Buddies,
REAL balsamic vinegar contains only one ingredient - grapes (grape must it is called). It must be aged for something like 12 years (minimum) and come from Modena, Italy. It is given a special certification seal. The one I use is "Fini"and it costs about $15.00, which is actually cheap for a certified balsamic vinegar. I use it as a sauce on everything, in addition to a salad dressing. It is heavenly! I find I can make an 8.45 oz. bottle last 2 months or more, and this includes taking it with me whenever I eat out.
Be aware that anything less than the above is not real balsamic vinegar. The ones used in restaurants are cheap imitations. Artificial colorings and flavorings, in addition to other ingredients, are used to make them seem like the real thing.
