MY EYEGLASS XPERIENCE---QUITE UNBELIEVABLE
Good HAZY---HOT---and HUMID Saturday---
Now to my story~~~~~
I got new *lenses* a month ago---very minimal change--
Go to LENSCRAFTERS(not any more grrrrrrr)
Started to have irritation and seeing *oddly* went back to optomologist---
Got eye drops----got better---then it got worse---
Before Lou;s *stone* (yesterday) went back to optom. and he checked the glasses---appears the invisible bi's were NOT level!!! on the NEW lens--
Went back to LENSC. and told them having megga issues---want my $$ back and it was within the 30 days--- OK!!!
Gave them my OLD Lenses and had them replaced in my OLD frame(which I used) --put them on and OMG--it was like I was in a wacked world-well says she---your eyes have to re-adjust to the old lenses again--
Riding back to Optom. I said to Lou--knowing this organization they no doubt reversed the lenses and when I got back to Optom. he checked the glasses and told me just what I thought---LENS put in reversed order!!!
I was so I was on my ready to go back and say a few NOT SO NICE words but from Mr. L.---
So now I got the whole eyeglass issue redone---by another optomotrist that we had used---
We only went to Lens. cus our company paid for part of the :dollarsign:
Its so nice to *C* the world
Have a good weekend----we are hanging in the AC house----U can actually see the *mist* hanging--
Luve ya all
keep a smile
luv arbbraa---oops---forgot to put on new glasses
ahhhhhhhh there we go

Mrs. Columbo,
That makes you wonder if they ever do anythng right, doesn't it. I had a similar experience with bifocals one time. I'm lucky, 'cause I only need glasses for reading, and only when the light is inadequate, so I just gave up on full-lens glasses. I now use plain old half-frame reading glasses, that I buy from Walmart. They are problem free, and mucho cheap. The best part is, I don't have to hastle with incompetent help from some unqualified optometrist's assistant.
The weather forcast is for hot and humid here too, this weekend, but so far, it's not too bad out there.
I'm glad you can see us again.
Luv,
Galahad

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hiya Barb!
Like Rosann Rosannadanna always said, "it's always something", right? It is just so annoying - and increasingly difficult to get good service anywhere, IMHO.
Had a new microwave delivered and installed (one of those over-the stove kinds) this week, and after the servicemen left we discovered that the light didn't work. Called the store and they said that we'd have to schedule a Whirlpool repairman to check it out! Now why wouldn't the delivery guys check everything out while they were still here? Anyway, Scott determined it was just the bulb and replaced it himself. No big deal -just extra aggravation and a trip to find an unusual-sized bulb.
I also use the cheapie bifocals!
Love,
Polly
P.S. My sunglasses fogged up the whole time I was on the trail with Rusty yesterday. This humidity is incredible!

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

Hi Barbara,
I was so glad to hear the Kait is going to camp and having fun!!
A step in the right direction!
Glasses, on the other hand, are a royal pain. I want to get contacts but think I'm too old to adjust to having something in my eye all the time. do they even have bi-focal contacts?
I agree with Polly that good service is getting to be a thing of the past.
Nobody seems to care about doing their best for the customer. They just try to do the least they can to get by. My opinion. Sometimes you'll get a good one, but not often.
Love,
Alice

ALICE!!!!!!
Hiya dear Alice-----
Just the thought of sticking something in the eye gave me the~~~ shivers~~~
And being I get the invisable Bi's it takes a good adjuster to get them set to a *T*
Kait also passed her drivers test!!!!! and Kris also goes to the camp---one sibling is allowed to attend free!!! Hows that fro helping kids~~~
Naturally the camp knows her issues---and always have neuros/hospital ready--just in case!!!
Hi to Bruce---and how is your dad doing???
luv Bubbs
