MC : SNRI VS SSRI

I have found these two url about the side effects noticed when being on these two kind of drugs.


It appears that snri don't cause MC and that SSRI do cause MC

But SNRI's do cause other types of colitis. And a lot of other stomach problems

However, I was told by my GI (one of the few GI's that I have heard of who acknowledges that SSRI's can cause MC) that once you have developed MC via this route it is best to avoid any AD with serotonin in it as it can aggivate the condition.
