blood in stool

So for the past few days I have notices red blood when I wiped, I think I posted about it but can't remeber and can't look back bc I'm at work...Anyways, I have been noticing the red blood inside my stools. My stool is formed and then I look at it and it looks like little strands of red blood. I know it is bc I've picked it out and examined it (ew, i know). I have also been experiencing HORRIBLE leg pain (frontal) for the past few weeks along with a weird pain in the back of my head when I lay down on my pillow and when I tip my head down to wash my face. Any Ideas of what could be going on? My D has been pretty much under control too, so that's why I'm so confused.

Your leg pain and headache point to a nerve problem - maybe a pinched nerve or a slipped disk in your back. I'd probably see a chiropractor for that. The blood still sounds like hemorrhoids if it's fresh. By chance did you eat watermelon recently? I did and it looked like red blood streaks in the stool. Then I realized it went through partially digested!

If it is bright red blood, then it is probably coming from your rectum, which is no big deal. Try using a cortisteriod cream on the outside of your rectum.
