Flower Fund

Post by Joefnh »

Well folks this is the second time in just a couple of months I have had the priveledge of getting flowers from the PP family.

Thanks so much everyone, that was a very considerate gift.

As a quick update I am improving and depending on my bloodwork I may actually get out of this crazy hotel by tonight or tommorow. After that I will taking the rest of the week off.

I'm going to have to contact the travel service though, they said nothing about the staff at this hotel stabbing you in the arm all the time and waking you up at night... What a strange way to treat your guests, and I thought the Aussies were strange...

In all seriousness thanks for all of your comments, support and of course the flowers.... Tex I'm going have to help recharge the fund after all of this.

This iPad takes pretty good pictures...

Thanks again

Joe,

I agree, one would think that they would treat an ambassador much better than that. I always thought that sort of treatment was reserved for someone who's been abducted by space aliens.

In case you're wondering why you got a bear, they were supposed to send either a bear wearing a scrubs outfit, or a bear on crutches, and wearing bandages, (which I thought was kinda cute), but apparently all they had on hand was regular bears, so that's what they sent. LOL.

Maybe Nurse Nestle will get more use out of the bear than you will.

Don't worry about the fund - just heal thyself, Mr. Ambassador.

:xfingers: that the blood work will be ok and you'll be able to leave the hotel.

I wouldn't leave a tip if I were you. Nurse Nestle is more considerate - she licks instead of pricks.

Glad to hear they might spring you Joe. Definitely not a nice way to treat a PP Ambassador. The one thing I have never understood at those type of hotels is waking up the guests in the night but they always do it.

Get well and be sure to take the rest of the week as recovery time.

Love, Maggie

Hi Joe,

I always say that "hospitals are no place for sick people!" It really is torture with the sticks, pokes, night time wake ups, etc.

Hope you'll soon be recovering from the comforts of your home!

Continued good wishes coming your way,

Julie

Beautiful Flowers!!! Thanks for the picture.

Yep, just a day or two in that "hotel" makes you really appreciate going home. You are indeed one tough guy, Joe, with a very special attitude too. You are an inspiration.

Dear Joe

Hope you continue to make progress.

I agree with your observation about staying at these types of "Hotels".

It's a pity
There's little "-ity"
In "Hospital-"

Best wishes, ant

Joe, feel better! As a veteran of extended hospital stays myself, with many different family members, I now can confirm that a hospital is not a place for R&R! Especially with a shared room! Hope you get home soon and get a full night's sleep!
