Thanks Cuz,

I'm trying so hard not to worry - tisn't easy (as you know). I go in to see the doctor tomorrow morning. I had an appointment for Aug. 30 because my regular doc is on holidays - the office got the results and wants me in right away to see some other doctor. Does that sound good? I know they have to do their billings...but if it were nothing couldn't they just tell me on the phone and bill anyway?

The whole process leaves a bad taste in my mouth, let me tell you.

I've told myself if it's bad news I may just take out all my savings and get to Africa sooner than I planned! Then I can see all the :raven: :kiwibird: :turtle: :butterfly: :elephant: :bugzap: bird3: :frog2: (that's supposed to be all the exotic wildlife  )

I will let you all know what happens in the morning.

Love
Pippi

:pigtail: I just want to offer you my good thoughts and a warm hug for your visit tomorrow. I hope your visit is to just collect your check and send you on your way. You know how docs can get - a phone call warrants no collection of money!!!

I also have scares - a nodule had to be removed from my milk gland a few years back. The surgery was done as out patient. Sounded worse when described than what it actually was. Being referred to yet another doctor always gets the heart a pounding too.

No matter what the news, we are all here for you! Let us know my friend!

Peg,
I hope you know that I am hoping and praying for the best - just a "glitch" of some sort that amounts to nothing. I don't know why the medical professionals like to scare us whenever possible (not you, Polly). They should just spit it out and get it over with. Be much easier on us.

My thoughts will be with you tomorrow.

Hi Peggy...I will be thinking of you too! Let us know how it goes...my mammogram is on Monday...oh joy! Hugs to you kiddo!

On a happier note, Shilo liked her new vet...he was very professional but gentle too. I like him. Shilo got a clean bill of health....check-up...a shot....a good combing...all for about $26! I think that is cheaper than my old vet, and he was nicer too! They didn't try to sell me expensive cat food either ....the other vet was always pushing a brand they sell at their clinic... :anger:

Take care.....hang in there....Love, Jill

Well the damn doctors "rushed" me in only to tell me I do have something, but they don't know what. Now I need an ultra sound. Nothing the :censored: couldn't have told me over the phone. All they succeeded in doing was getting me very upset and worried.

What ever it is it is fairly small, so if it is cancerous and has to be removed it should be pretty non evasive. That doesn't make me feel much better - but oh well.

I'll keep you posted.

Well, actually they will make the appointment for me. I've been waiting for a call all day. The ultra sound has to be done at a hospital and we aren't allowed to book our own appointments.

:pigtail: Still gotta say it could still be fibroids. Been there, done that. I know it is useless to say "don't worry" but hang in there, K?

I will keep you in my prayers. I hope they hurry up the ultrasound so you aren't kept hangin too long.

Big hugs till then.

BTW - damn if they didn't just want that payment - phone calls don't get a check!
