Weird stuff

Post by annie oakley »

There's something weird going on on work now. I told you all that Boss wants to train me for managment......now there are rumors flying around that she is leaving in 30 days......she can't possibly get me trained in that short a time....One person said he overheard a conversation re: corporate telling her to keep her mouth shut and stop talking about employee's....Me and the frog person had it out two days ago.....Boss backed me on it..... :frog2: person is two faced and not Management material...I am beginning to think Boss is also two faced for reasons I can't prove yet, one of them is that she swore frog person was not management material, then promotes her. I can't put my trust anywhere or in anyone as I don'know whom to trust...so I won't. I wonder if I should call corporate or just hang back, do my job and wait see. I am so :???: So I am eating a pint of strawberry Ice cream (actually it's the second one) I know it's not good to do that...but it's comfort food right now and I just don't care. Confused and still depressed Oma

Hang in there Oma! Hope the ice cream don't play heck with your gut!

Politics at work are the pits!

Here's a hug for ya! :bigbighug:

I'm really sorry, Oma. I hope the rumor is unfounded and the boss is on the level with you. You are right though - you don't know those people well enough yet to have much faith in them.

Sorry you are still depressed. I hope something brightens your days up soon.

It is too bad that things are uncomfortable at work. Just wait and see what plays out and kind of separate yourself from the politics as much as you can. I'm glad you spoke up to the frog person though.

I made the candy bar pie and was it ever good. It gets better every day. It's so rich we could just have small pieces and tonight I gave the last third of it to my neighbor whose daughter is visiting. Thanks so much for the recipe! I'm glad I didn't wait for a picnic to make it.
