WHEW - I'm baaack!

Post by Mars »

Got back a few hours ago and am absolutely exhausted and screaming in pain! LOL I need new hips, feet, legs, nerves and patience! LOL We had a great day but should have gone while the weather was cooler!

Lions and Tigers and Bears - OH MY! Bryce enjoyed the bears and the creapy, crawly insects and the large aquarium. I think he liked pretty much everything!

Jordan liked the big cats, monkeys and birds. She sat in front of the monkey cage and mimicked them, to everyone's delight! She did NOT like the snakes or insects or the wolf. They all scared her.

Oh, I have to tell you about the Lorikeet sanctuary - I bought some nectar before entering and once I was in - I became the Bird Lady!!!! I had birds on my back, head and hands and arms. Oh, I was in heaven!!!!! What a beautiful bird! They fly free and are so friendly! Of course it was the nectar and not me but HEY - who cares!

Ok, enough of that - that was our day - both kids were sleeping before we were out of the parking lot. Larry and I will be sleeping before long!

Glad you're back safe and sound. Sounds as if the Zoo was fun for all. The board has been a bit quiet....Haven't been able to catch anyone in the chat room in a couple days. Hope all is well....I miss everyone. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

 Sounds like a great day, Mars!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I have been in a bird house like the one you described and, of course, I bought nectar also. I could have stayed there all day. I loved it.
We were at Cypress Gardens at the time.

Oma, I haven't even tried the chat room for a couple of days. Just been tired, I guess. Getting awfully sleepy right now.

Hi Margie. I'm soooo glad you and the children had such a good time! Welcome back and maybe today you can just take it easy! BTW Do you ever have bear sightings where you live? I mean the kind where the bear wanders into your back yard? We've been getting more and more of them in the general area where I live...even down in Westchester County...but fortunately all I've gotten are deer and wild turkeys.

Love,
Carrie
