I'm Still Alive

Post by Momster »

Hi Friends:

Sorry I haven't been around much. Lots of stuff going on and have had some bouts of health problems (the usual).

I'm still doing lots of crafts and busy with family too. I had my granddaughter here for 3 weeks and enjoyed that and miss her lots now. A 15 year old doesn't have much time for grandparents.

We're getting ready for my Sister's wedding on the 17th and are going to take the opportunity to take three days off and enjoy the getaway. She lives in Kelowna and it's beautiful there. She'll be moving closer to me after she gets married, so I'm happy about that. On the 25th, we're leaving for a 10 day trip to Quebec to visit relatives (I'll have to brush up on my French) and also planned it for the time of the Fall colours, so plan to do some driving around and enjoying the scenery. The town we're going to be staying in has a nice lake, so I hope to get some fishing in also.

When I get back, it's off to the Ortho to look at my left knee which is deteriorating and then we have Thanksgiving, so are having Peg and Ron and my Sister and Brother-In-Law over. My other daughter is having a big dinner at her place, so we'll get together with them another day. It's kind of hard for all of us to get together at the same time and tiring too.

Well, I hope this finds you all well. I have to go for lunch and then to the GP, so will try to catch up with everyone over the weekend.

Have a good one - Love - Momster

Sis, would you please send me a postcard from Quebec? I collect them and I don't have one from there.

Thanks and lots of love,

Sis

I am glad your busy with family and crafts! The two best things in the whole world. I have been so tired that I am not even interested in crafting.

I can't believe we are so close to Thanksgiving. This year has flown by!

Good to hear from you!

Hugs

Hi Joanna,

There is a way to tell if your PM has been received. It will remain in your "Outbox", until it has been received. If it's gone from your Outbox, it has been received.

Love,
Wayne

Thanks Wayne,

For that info- pretty spiffy, I just checked and it looks like she hasn't picked it up yet.

Love,
Joanna
