"Cross-reactivity" is a term used by many people who don't understand what it actually means, and therefore many people interpret it to mean different things, (often incorrectly). It's the latest popular "catch phrase" used in the never-ending campaign to "create" non-existent diseases and issues, in order to find new ways to separate anyone willing to listen, from their money.
