Post by beni »

Hi Beni,

Three of the ingredients (peppers, eggplant, tomatoes) belong to the nightshade family, whose foods are frequently not well tolerated by MCers. Nightshades in general are notorious for causing problems, especially until well into remission. I can tolerate cougette (zucchini) but not yellow squash. Isn't that weird?

You might try eating each food separately to see if which ones you can tolerate best.

Hugs,

Polly

How strange - I suspect the same thing and will be testing my theory this summer. I thought I was imagining things. Thank you for sharing!

You never know what you can do until you have to do it.

I definitely couldn't eat it since it is so heavy on nightshades - especially the eggplant which is extremely reactive for me.
