Started the MC Book Tonight

Post by Polly »

Hi Good Buddies!

I finally have my very own copy of the MC book by Tex. It arrived in the mail today, an autographed copy from Tex. I think the format looks terrific! Also, I love the heartfelt dedication to Sally Read.

I have finished the intro and just have to say "kudos", Tex. Well-written and on target. I must say I was surprised (and delighted) to see that you did not express your deepest feelings and frustrations about the medical profession and big Pharma, at least not in the intro......LOL! You were quite restrained and fair, actually. I am in awe of the time, effort, and expertise you have utilized to put out such a quality product.

OK, back to reading.........

Tex, you are nothing short of amazing!!! Did any corn get planted/harvested in the last 2 years??

With love and admiration,

Polly
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

Thanks Polly,

But what can I say? I had the best teachers in the world — you and the other members of this discussion board. How could I go too far wrong?

Actually, the corn crop from both of the last two years was nothing to get excited about anyway, because of the drought. LOL. Writing was a good thing, because it helped to take my mind off that stuff.

Much love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I too am enjoying the book immensely Tex. It's taking me a while to read it because of the nutrition studying I'm doing, but I love it so far :)

Good things can come from bad things and Tex, your book is one of them. I am half way through and am excited as I am now getting to the good stuff, the last 6 chapters! Thank you, thank you!

Tex
I have both the kindle version and the paperback book.. Almost done with it. I'm going to loan it to my internist when I go in next month.

Thanks so much. (and thanks for the birthday wishes.).
