The plastic one is $35 I believe. The painted wood one is around $59, the bamboo one $79

I have a low wooden step stool that is moving to the downstairs bathroom. It will be tested tomorrow a.m. I tend to bend way over at the waist, face almost on knees during the early a.m. BM that is usually a bit painful. It helps.

Thanks for the post Leslie. You could revolutionize PP pooping.

Not me. The squatty potty. Dr. Oz had it on his show at some time.

I have an Ikea stool that I use when I am having trouble (most of the time!), but it's way too big for my tiny bathroom. I love the idea of it tucking under the toilet.

I can't squat because of my shortened Achilles tendon so this might help me get into the correct position.

Thinking about it.

Ha ha. Sometimes in Asia you will see signs in public restrooms as a reminder to people who are used to squatting: "Please do not step on the toilet seat."

I like the idea of the stool. I co-opted my grandson's step stool.

Either my toilet is too short or the step stool is too tall or a combination of the two, but this idea didn't work at all. I felt as if I was going to tip over backward, very uncomfortable. It may work for some people but not for me.

I Love it! The squatty potty is made for potty people like us. I'm going to move a couple stepping blocks into my bathroom to test this theory out. Makes sense to me. Thanks for sharing that Lesley.
