Molasses is a natural laxative

Post by wonderwoman »

I found out the hard way by eating several spoons of molasses. My sister needed molasses and I said don't buy any, I have an unopened jar in the pantry. I ate a spoonful and thought that was good. Ate another and another and ended up with D. I googled this and found it to be true. So be careful if you are using it as a natural sweetener.

The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine, or the slowest form of poison. Ann Wigmore

Yep, white Karo Syrup is also notorious for it's use by moms to keep babies and infants "regular" (at least it used to be, back when I was a toddler).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
