Another Question about Enterolab testing

Post by jgivens »

I thought that I would ask my Dr. to order the A & C Panel combo from Enterolab and pay for the genetic test, which is $150 out of pocket. Does that sound like the most helpful, Tex? I know that you told someone else you thought Panel B was good because of the genetic testing, but does it test something else that I wouldn't get from A & C?

Hi Jane,

As far as I am aware, the only difference between the Panel A and Panel B tests is the gene test. It's a shame that they don't offer a combination of Panel B and Panel C, because that would probably save the patient $50 off the total cost, but since they don't offer that option, adding the gene test to the combination of Panel A and Panel C is the cheapest way to get all of those particular tests.

The results from that test combination should provide a lot of valuable information about the details of how your digestive system and your immune system are interacting.
