We used to occasionally eat frog legs around here, too, but since fur prices went to practically nothing a couple of decades or so ago, the racoons and coyotes have taken over the ponds, creeks, and rivers (and everywhere else), and I haven't heard a bullfrog in years. They may have wiped them out around here.
