Is it the fiber in fresh veggies and fruits that so many of us find irritating in the beginning or something else in them? I'm wondering if a juicer would be helpful in getting more nutrients for the next few months.
Thanks guys!

Hi Nettie,
For many of us, the relatively high amounts of fructose and sugar alcohols in many fruits and certain vegetables also cause problems, because we can't completely digest them as long as our digestive system is inflamed, so they tend to ferment in our colon, causing gas, bloating, cramps, and D.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Ha..
I just bought an slowjuicer last week. Used to make an spinach, shrub selery, fennel, carrot, red beet smoothie with chlorella- or spirulina powder every morning..but did had stomach-pain after drinking every time (like, duh..all that fibres on an empty stomach)
The slowjuicer i have now (Versapers..but the American brandname is Hurom) works pretty good. It doesn't work with a motor..so no heating and stuff, so the vitamins aren't breaking (ok, my Englisch is definitly not good enough to explain this proces..so, check www.hurom.com;))
I'm using it for one week now..and didnt had any stomach-pain after drinking it! Yey..also, the pulp is really, really dry. I use them to make pancakes and muffins (just ad some water, buckweit- or quinoaflower and cinnamon) and you've something pretty good:)!
But ok..don't know if this works for everybody offcourse...:)
