Pillsbury dough boy goes gluten free

Post by gluten »

Hi, Pillsbury will be introducing g-f pizza, pies and cookie dough. For more information go to the " General Mills Website". Another g-f product made by Grotons Fish. Grilled haddock and other types of grilled fish gluten-free. Go to the Grotons website and look up products. Also, Kelloggs makes a g-f rice cereral. What a difference in available g-f foods in the supermarket in the past ten years. When, I started working with a g-f support group twelve years ago there were very few options at the supermarket and you had to read every ingredient to check for any gluten. Only health food stores had limited g-f products at a much higher price. Jon

You're right about that, Jon. I remember when a friend went gluten free 10-15 years ago and there were very little choices for her. I feel fortunate I'm in the time frame I am. There is very little I'm missing these days except for a good loaf of crusty bread. I'm working on that though and am getting closer.Deb
