I didn't read the entire article, but it appears to be based on obsolete information. For example, their stated prevalence for MC is waaaaaaaay off. They claim that only about 9 people per 100,000 have the disease, but actually MC is more common than celiac disease. That means that it is more than a hundred times more common than they claim in the article.
Also, there are at least a dozen known different types of MC, not 2, as they claimed.
It's good to see the disease getting a little publicity. It's just a shame that such articles are rarely very accurate with the details.
