Book Report for Monique

Post by Sheila »

I just finished your book, Monique. Loved it!! The past week has been very busy or I would have finished it sooner.
You have a future, Monique, as a author of adventure novels. It sounds like Kennedy will be the heroine of your next book, which I hope you have started. It is easy to see this book as a movie or TV series. The plot was well thought out and I loved the way you incorporated your knowledge of Morrocco into the story. You kept the pace fast and developed your main characters well. Are you planning a series? Personally, I like to read books that are part of a series with an interesting central character and returning subsidiary characters. As a reporter, Kennedy can travel the world and that is fodder for your imagination.

Congratulations, Monique. Well done.

Next I'm going to Amazon to post my positive review.

Sheila,

That is AWESOME! Great review, THANK YOU!

So glad you enjoyed it. Yes, that is the kind of feedback I am getting from other friends who read it.

I wasn't sure on sending Kennedy elsewhere but now I do. When I originally wrote it, I was thinking of a movie as well because it was all so cinematic to me in my head. I viewed it like a movie. And you're right, it lends itself to being a serial character with different trouble spots where she can go and do her investigative reporting.

I already started plotting the next one. Doing my homework before I start writing. I have a country picked out and some framework of a plot as well but as the cliche goes, the devil is in the details.

And thank you so very much for posting it on Amazon. It is the kind of push I need to get people to read it. Spreading the word.

Love,

Monique

P.S. Just read your review....great. We have the same last name! Hilarious!

I missed the name of the book. Maybe you could mention it again for others who may have missed it.

I am waiting for my copy to arrive.

I am in the strange predicament of having too much to read.
