The Wedding
As many of you know this past week was my daughters wedding and I thought I would give a brief update and share a few photos. The trip there and back went well as did the ceremony, I did find out that I just do not have any stamina, a simple day out and I'm exhausted, its been that way since the MG took hold
The ceremony went off without a hitch...well...one hitch, that was supposed to happen
I was able to take all of the photos except the few that I'm in. I worked right besides the professional photographer. I think I did ok given that I normally photograph nature images.
Here are a few photos taken the day before the ceremony...
Debbie wanted an outdoor, somewhat rustic wedding and she had full control of the plans. She chose an outdoor vineyard / winery about 30 minutes north of Lynchburg Virginia. Here a couple of photos of the grounds.
The actual town the wedding was located in is Lovingston, Virginia (appropriate name)
These few are from her getting ready
The Bride to be...
Debbie with 2 of her brides maids
Ready...
Here is some ugly guy (well me I suppose LOL) and Debbie just after she got ready
Here is Jon (the Groom) and his father sharing a hug....as a note Jon's father is a Pastor and officiated the ceremony.
Me walking Debbie down the 'aisle'
The ceremony
The smooch....
....Ok...still the smooch....ahem...guys....hello!!
We're Married!!
A bit later...
Well thats it in a nutshell, it was a great day and all went well. I had a great time with my daughter and son, and I had fun playing photographer. I can't wait to see the professional photos. He only shot in film but will have digital available as well. I have hundreds of more photos, but distilled it down to just a handfull.
Thats a wonderful milestone in my daughters and my life...

Beautiful bride and lovely ceremony!
Your daughter was a very beautiful bride! It looks like the location was wonderful. Love TN. My husband and I got married there on a mountaintop and I have always been glad we did it that way. Thanks for posting the pics-I love wedding pics! :)

What a gorgeous bride and love the groom ditching the formal wear - it so fit the venue and the pictures are gorgeous. So much loved the black & white ones - my passion in photography.
You should be so proud and I am sure you are.
Love, Maggie
