Signed Joan. Since the balanced budget act came in this has been a problem. Prior to that therapists could decide how much time each patient needed. This was taken advantage of, so limitations were imposed. Trouble is they allotted therapy times per dx, and gave so little to the patients who need so much in order to get anywhere such as stroke, Parkinson, MS etc. (but especially stroke) that it is ridiculous.
I haven't practiced for 10 years now, but it's only been getting worse.
