GF toothpaste, and gluten in nut bulk bins?
Is there a such thing as a GF toothpaste that's also free of fluoride? Thought I'd ask first before I research this.
Am I taking a chance by eating nuts (which I'm not allergic to) purchased from a bulk nut bin? Any chance a gluten molecule could make its way in there? I'd imagine so, but I thought I'd see what GF here have to say.
I can't find raw, organic walnuts in bags, though I can probably find them online for a very pricey cost.

I have no idea what the contamination level might be, but the last purchase I made at Whole Foods (from their original store in Austin, TX) was over 40 years ago. I was turned off by the sight of all the other foods that were obviously dribbled into some of the bulk bins by careless shoppers, so I never went back.
IMO, if there is gluten anywhere in the store, it will eventually make it's way into most exposed, bulk foods, by one means or another. But that's just my opinion, based on my experience gained from unloading, storing and loading out thousands of truckloads of various grains during the last couple of decades or so.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Yes, it is gluten free, too! We have used it for a year now, and like it.
I am going to make my own toothpaste, too.
