Goodbye 2013, Welcome 2014

Post by lorimoose »

Hello Everyone,

This was the year I was diagnosed with LC, tried some meds, felt sorry for myself, found this forum, learned how to live a full life with LC....and I am ready to begin a New Year!

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Our road together is bumpy at times, but joyful for the friendships and sharing.

With Love,
Lori

I am also so grateful for the forum, and all of you. May we all have a healthy, low stress 2014.

Hi Lori,

It seems that this time of the year, all of the TV news programs are presenting their summary of 2013, and they are OK I suppose, for what they cover. But I have to say that your summary of the year is far more meaningful to everyone here than anything we can hope to see on TV.

Congratulations on taking the bull by the horns, and wrestling it to the ground, so that you can get on with your life. Your summary says it all, without wasting any words, and it's loaded with inspiration and optimism. Good job!

Happy New Year!!

I was also diagnosed late this year, but I feel like I've learned so much along the way to diagnosis (and since then). I hope and pray that we can all continue to make strides to improve our health in 2014!

Happy New Year everyone! Yes Lori, we are people who work together to move forward. This is my first on-line group. I can safely say that people I've never met have had a life-altering impact on my health and safety in 2013.

I appreciate :tex: and all of you beyond measure.

Happy New Year! :pulsinghearts:

Thanks to the guidance I've received on this site, I achieved remission in 2013. I've also gotten stronger again and am back to being able to travel.
Goal for this year: Go completely Paleo and exercise consistently to gain more stamina back.

Thanks to you all for your help and support. Happy New Year!

Yes Monique- remission for all in 2014. What I know for sure is that sometimes remission is out of our control, and we have to have compassion for ourselves, when our bodies are just not cooperating.

This year I would like to add a few more foods if possible, and learn the art of traveling (with grace, instead of stress and complaining).

Warmly,
Lori
