Coupon resources

Post by kd025 »

When I go shopping, I use quite a few coupons, even after changing my diet. As I was looking for coupons today, I thought maybe I should post and share some of the sites I use, in case anyone else is interested. I am in the U.S., so these may not be helpful internationally.

There's a blog called Gluten Freely Frugal that focuses specifically on coupons for GF-friendly items. It's a good place to start if you're wanting to save a little money on your shopping trips without spending tons of time searching the internet on your own. You can find it at: www.glutenfreelyfrugal.com/

I also have several sites bookmarked:
www.coupons.com -- coupons for food (plenty of junk, but some good ones) & household items
www.mambosprouts.com/coupon-gallery -- natural/organic products
www.commonkindness.com/printable-grocery-coupons/1 (does require a login) -- natural/organic products

Also, if you have brands that you buy regularly, check their websites for coupons. Some companies have printable coupons on their sites, or some will send coupons to their e-mail newsletter subscribers (Earthbound Farm & Applegate are a couple of examples.)

Pretty awesome that you are sharing this vital info....

Another way to save money on our specialist products:
- buy in carton lots and negotiate with the retailer to give 10-15% discount ( most retailers get 20% discount from the supplier for purchasing in carton lots

- some of the retailers here do one day a month where all the products are 20 % off.
It is the first Monday of the month... If business is a bit slow for your retailer encourage them to do something like this, it will attract more shoppers...
