Natural Acne Treatment

Post by MBombardier »

My 15yo daughter, Sierra has a bad case of acne. She gets it from both sides--her father and aunt had serious acne, and my brother had serious acne. When she went gluten-free in the spring of 2011, it cleared up though it never went away. Recently, it has gotten very bad. On her own, this week Sierra decided to stop eating all grains, processed foods, and dairy. Within a couple of days the underlying redness and inflammation almost went away. Yesterday she started on the following routine: http://empoweredsustenance.com/7-secret ... chemicals/

We don't have all the oils recommended yet, though they are on their way. We are very encouraged.

I will update from time to time in case there is anyone who struggles with acne or has a loved one who does.

Thanks for sharing. I wonder if it would work for the little colony of bad pores I have under the corner of my lip. I don't know what to call it because it's not acne but I have an accumulation of dead cells under the skin deep. I try to gently squeeze them out but I often cause damage that results in deep, large bumps that are quite painful. It's like a pimple deep under the skin that sometimes surfaces and sometime goes away on its own. My skin is very dry so I shy away from clearasil type treatments.
