Hi Monique, I read that article as well. I tried to give up grains when I started the Paleo diet. That didn't last long. Weight melted off and I couldn't gain anything back. If I stick with homemade bread, cookies, and rice I seem to be okay. Other grains just don't set right and I had to give up cereal and Vans waffles. Sigh. I honestly think that this human being needs more variety in my diet than allowed in a strict Paleo diet.

I've given up pining for forbidden food. As long as I can have those few comfort foods, I'm okay.

Hope you're still feeling well.

Hi Sheila,

I am with you and I totally get it. My diet is so limited if I gave up rice and potatoes, I don't know WHAT I would eat. I am already GF, SF, DF, low fiber (which is most fruits and vegetables), low histamine--I seriously don't know where I can cut.

The paleo diet is certainly not for me. I don't eat red meat. Never did.

Yes, I am feeling good. One week on LDN and it's getting better everyday.

Thanks for asking. :-)

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm having Normals to constipated now. I'm sure lack of fiber is one of the reasons why. I'm even eating stuff in my "can't eat" list in my profile except for gluten. Too much popcorn takes care of the constipation problem.

I'm so happy the LDN is working for you, Monique. So exciting!

I'm taking 3 mg Entocort every 3 days. May start spreading it out even farther. :)

I also eat Rice and potatoes, but I have to say that if I stay away from these foods, I lose weight quickly ( so I don't buy that a low fat diet makes you lose weight). I think the real problem is when one is eating wheat AND high fat, AND sugar… basically , processed foods. THAT is the American diet right now and it's killing us. When it comes to MC, many of us can't survive on a plant based diet because we can't have wheat, legumes, and many fruits and veggies.
Gotta go cook my burger :)
