6 days of C

Post by Lesley »

And 2 weeks of LDN. I had a goat droppings BM, nothing substantial, but it was still floaty, mucousy stuff. Inflammation STILL rules. When will it every get better? I have to get it out.

I am so sick of eating 5 things. And it doesn't seem to help at all.

Moving back to the way I was eating before. I can't keep this up if it's not helping.

Lesley-- I'm sorry that you are suffering and wish I had something to offer.

But "goat droppings"?

I have to admit I laughed out loud, because I know exactly what you are talking about.

Now that phrase will come to mind every time I have something that is more "pieces" than Norman, which is still a couple times a week.

Hi Lesley, What, I have noticed during the C periods is a craving for potato or corn chips. When, I have them as an add on to my meals the C stops and I have a good BM. This has helped me stay with one good BM a day for the last two weeks. Is it the salt from the chips balancing an acid-alkaline imbalance? Jon

I'm sorry you are still suffering, Lesley. I can't eat chips of any kind without having WD. I think it is the "greasiness" of chips that get me. I'll think of you and goat droppings when it happens to me again. Since stopping budesinide, I've experienced a wide variety of poops. Not too much WD, thankfully.

Hope you start getting some help from the LDN.

I wish chips would make me go Jon. I eat so many of them I wish I had shares in the factory, or factories since I get different kinds. I can't do corn - wish I could. If any chips would cause me to have a bm I would eat several packets since one is nothing for me nowadays. It's mouth hunger, not real hunger, because I am so sick of what I am eating, although I do love lamb and potatoes. I have added zucchini, an I had a cup of coffee this morning. I am taking stool softeners, but nothing has produced anything but non N goat droppings.
As for the reason they do that for you, ask Tex. I have no idea!

Carol, I have been afflicted with goat dropping stool for years, but not floating, be-ribboned ones. That is peculiar to my MC.

Sheila - for some reason I thought you were another chip addict. Why did I think that? Can't you eat baked ones? Way less greasy.

Lesley,

I'm sorry you still haven't found any relief. When I took stool softeners after I had my knees replaced, I had to take them all at once in one dose. That was the only way they would work. The bottle said the maximum dose was 4 a day, so I took all four of them at once at night. That would do the trick until I got the narcotic pain medicine out of my system. They would only give them to me one at a time in the hospital.

(((((hugs)))))

Unfortunately I may need to use the stool softeners again. In the last week, I have gone from pain in one of my knees to not being able to put much weight on it. I had someone dig my walker out of the storage shed. I did get into see a doctor Friday. He ordered lab work to rule out infection and a bone scan to see if the implant has loosened.

Take care
Brenda

Hi Rich,
Only vaginally prior to having surgery for a prolapsed bladder. The consensus was that the pelvic floor was OK. I don't feel like suggesting it to my GI for fear he may agree. I have had barium enemas. That was more than enough. the idea of having barium vaginally horrifies me.!

Lesley, I saw this article and thought of you. Perhaps this is an option?

Interesting, it did remind me of roto-rooter
Hopefully it will be helpful and available soon.
