TO GO OR NOT TO GO THAT IS THE QUESTION

Post by janet »

HELLO FRIENDS, THIS IS MY DILEMA I HAVE AN APPOINTENT WITH MY GI FOR THE END OF JUNE.
BUT AS I HAVE HAD SO MANY SIDE EFFETS FROM ENTOCORT, THE WORSE BEING THE LOSS OF MY HAIR, TILL GREAVING OVER THIS.
I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE HIM A RING AND CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT.
HE KNOWS ALL ABOUT MY PROBLEMS FROM MY LAST VISIT, OR SHOULD I ATTEND AND TRY AND GET SOME SENSE, I AM BACK WHERE I STARED BEFORE GOING TO SEE HIM.
I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT IS THE BEST FOR ME TO DO. GO OR NOT?
ANY ADVICE HERE I WOULD BE GREATFUL.
REGARDS
MARIE

Hi Marie,

Well, since Dr. Appointments in Canada are free, at least it wouldn't cost anything but time to see him. Who knows, maybe he might have some suggestions for an alternative treatment if he is aware of all the side effects that Entocort causes for you.

Of course, if you have already been through all that with him, and he had no better suggestions, then it may not be worth the effort to see him.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
