US Wellness Meats

Good evening. Just wondering if anyone purchases meat from US Wellness Meats. The Paleo people on Facebook seem to talk about it a lot. If you do, what do you purchase? Marcia :4thofjuly:

Hi Marcia,

JFR (Jean) and Leslie on this board had recommended http://texasgrassfedbeef.com/ (Slankers) to me. I've had two good orders from them. First time I got an assortment. Second order I got just the 4 packs of beef preformed hamburger patties. I like the convenience of the preformed hamburger patties. I can pick up grass fed beef locally in Florida so I'll probably get other cuts local and keep ordering 1 big lot of the hamburger patties from Slankers. The local ground beef that I can find is in frozen 3 lb tubes and not practical for one.

I use both Slankers and Wellness meat. I mostly order ground meat as well as soup bones, heart and liver. Slankers prices are usually lower, especially for soup bones and liver and heart. I can't eat beef or chicken but I do get pork or lamb.

I haven't ordered from them for a long time. When I DO order I get meat from Creston Valley Meats because they deliver quite close to where I live.
