More Thich Nhat Hanh about staying in the present moment
Thich Nhat Hanh is presently in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurism. This quote from him was on my Facebook page this morning.
We’re afraid all the time of what the future will bring—afraid we’ll lose our jobs, our possessions, the people around us whom we love. So we wait and hope for that magical moment—always sometime in the future—when everything will be as we want it to be. We forget that life is available only in the present moment. —Thich Nhat Hanh

Jean,
That is so true, and such a profound truth. We tend to be so concerned about the future, that we forget to enjoy the present.
Thank you for the reminder,

Thank you, Jean, for this timely reminder. Our minds are prone to wander and drift to thoughts of past and future, but we can gently notice and bring them back.
Peace,
Meg
