Hi. I just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone and that I am so grateful that I found this group. I've only been a member since April but I feel like I have belonged much longer than that! Thank you for your support and guidance along the way! I wish you all a happy and healthy 2015! In PA the New Year's Day tradition for good luck in the New Year is pork & sauerkraut. Needless to say, I passed on that dish this year. I made it for my guys so I'm sure they'll have enough good luck to carry me through, too.

My dad's family always ate pickled pigs feet on New Years Day, and my mom's family ate black-eyed peas for good luck.
