Celiac disease is topic of talk

Dr Joseph Murray, a celiac
disease researcher who has
served as a part of Mayo
Clinic’s research team since
1998, is slated to give a presentation
on the problems and
treatment of celiac sensitivity.
Murray’s presentation,
titled “Gluten, Villian Among
the Villi” will be Saturday at
10 a.m. in the First Floor Conference
room at Mayo Clinic’s
Baldwin Building (2nd Street
and 4th Avenue Southwest in
Rochester). Admission is free,
and free parking is available
at the Baldwin ramp.
In addition, information
will be available about SE
Minnesota Celiac Support
Group, which is sponsoring
the event, and anyone
wishing to join the group
will receive their first year’s
membership free.
