WAYNE!!!!!

Post by Polly »

Hi Wayne,

I'm really becoming concerned. Are you keeping fluids down? Are you still vomiting? When was the last time you had a BM? Any fever?

Love from your worrywort friend,

Polly

Hi Polly,

I'm able to drink plenty of water, about a liter a day, which should be adequate, since I'm only sitting around, doing nothing. My kidneys seem to be working fine. It's been three days, I believe, since I last vomited, two days since I had a BM, (of course, I haven't eaten anything significant in about a week, now, so no reason for BMs).

No fever. Still bloated, but the pain and spasms are greatly reduced, so that they'e not much of a problem anymore. I'm going to try some jello, and then a little solid food, later, (chicken and baked potato).

Love,
Wayne

P S I appreciate your concern. Do you think that I need to force more water down? I haven't been forcing anything, so far.

I just successfully downed a sizable helping of cherry jello for lunch, and was rewarded afterwards with a nice belch.

Love,
Wayne

P S It's been a long time since I've eaten any jello. It's amazing how good something that simple can taste, when you're starving to death. LOL.

Mornin' Wayne!

Are you better? A liter of water is probably OK, but what about electrolyes? Are you getting any sodium? I'll be on a field trip today - going to an ancient hemlock gorge and doing tests to measure stream purity. Should be fun -it's a sunny day with temp. in the 60s. Will check in when I return.

Hope you are belching away!

Love,

Polly

Hi Wayne,

I'm sorry you're so sick. I just wanted to tell you that I really like your list of intolerances right there with every post. Very good idea, and I kind of wish everyone listed them there . .

Hi Marsha,

Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Actually, the tag line listing intolerances, was Jean's idea. If you wish to do the same, you can add it to your signature file, in your profile.
